Happy Birthday Annie!!!

At 3:33 pm today my baby girl will be 8 years old! I can't believe how life has changed since she has come to bless our lives. Annie has been such a joy and peaceful little spirit in our home. I often tell Nels that she is our experimental child because she is our first to experience everything with our parenting skills. It's a wonder she has made it this far! :)

Annie is such a sweetheart, she is the peacemaker in our home. She often gives up her chair, treat, or toy to make her brother or sister happy. She is very sympathetic and is very aware of others feelings. Awhile back Macee got hurt and was crying. I walked into the room to find that Annie had pulled her up onto her lap and was giving her a big hug. She does amazingly well with Dylan. She can feed him bottles and hold him so good if I am trying to get things done.

Annie loves to make others happy and is always drawing pictures for us or doing kind things for others. She listens and does what I ask (most of the time :)) She often tells me that Macee is her BFF (Best Friend Forever). I hope that they will always be close and best friends. Sisters are such a blessing to have.

I can't tell you how much I love my little girl. My life has been so much more fullfilling since she came along. It did take getting over a few very hard months of colicky, acid reflux, an incredible amount of crying, and finally getting the hang of being a mom to realize what a joy having children can be:). It is a wonder how the three of us survived those first few months, but at least to look at the bright side every baby since them has been pretty easy, haha!

The girl also has a great sense of fashion. She loves to shop for clothes and kind of has her own little style. She is starting to like to fix her own hair and actually does a pretty good job. She also enjoys her alone time. I often find her down in her room just hanging out. She loves to watch cartoons and would watch them all day long if I would let her. She is doing so good in school and I am so proud of all of the hard work she has put into reading and homework this year.

We will be baptizing her this Saturday, which she is very excited about. Grandma Pearson made her a super cute white dress for her baptism so we took her up to the Temple and got some cute pictures of her in it.

I am so proud of my baby girl and the sweet beautiful girl she has grown into. She is such a blessing in our lives and to everyone she meets! Happy Birthday Annie!!!!

Annie is beautiful! My baby is 10 in June...and then Kenna will be 8, and I'll have 2 baptized! Your Annie sounds so much like Kenna, almost like reading your post was something I would have exactly written about Kenna! I love the pic by the temple...did you have someone take it, or do it yourself?
